A 3,500 word story
Three in the morning it was, when I spotted two girls walking towards me. Well, I say walking; they were wearing the kind of shoes which are designed for sitting down and looking pretty in, and they’d had more than a few drinks. They were talking in that way which seems quiet to those who’ve been drinking, but really isn’t.
